Terms of Use for SwimFix

Welcome to SwimFix. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SwimFix is an iOS app that helps you correct .fit swim activity files from Garmin devices. The App runs on your device. We do not operate a server. See the Privacy Policy for data details.

2. SwimFix Pro (Subscription)

2.1 Products

SwimFix Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription:

  • Yearly: $9.99 / year, after a 7-day free trial
  • Monthly: $1.99 / month, after a 7-day free trial

Prices in other currencies are determined by Apple’s App Store pricing matrix for your region.

2.2 Trial

Your 7-day free trial starts when you tap “Start 7-day free trial” and confirm with your Apple ID. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to the paid plan you selected.

2.3 Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. You can cancel or change your plan anytime in Settings → [Your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds for unused time.

2.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one via reportaproblem.apple.com.

2.5 Family Sharing

SwimFix Pro is not Family Shareable in version 1.0.

3. What You Can Use SwimFix For

You may use SwimFix to edit, correct, and re-upload swim activities that belong to you. You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to abuse, overload, or circumvent Garmin Connect’s own terms of service
  • Resell access to the App or its features

Your use of Garmin Connect through the App is also governed by Garmin’s Terms of Use.

4. Disclaimers

SwimFix is provided “as is.” We do our best to make the App accurate and reliable, but we don’t guarantee it is free from bugs or that corrected files will be accepted by every third-party service.

Garmin Connect uploads may fail or be rejected by Garmin. When the App uploads a corrected .fit file to Garmin Connect, it uses Garmin’s standard upload path. Garmin may at its discretion change, deprecate, or disallow this path, and the App’s upload feature may stop working as a result.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwimFix is not liable for any loss of data, loss of training progress, or indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

6. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the App’s release notes and reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
